Events
The complete OCCC series consists of three events, a Forest event, an Urban event and a Sprint event. Participate in one, two or all three events. Your choice!
- Sep. 11 (Sat.) - Club Champs Forest - Fish Creek Park (Bebo Grove - 24 St SW)
- Sep. 12 (Sun) - Club Champs Urban Park - Nose Hill Park (64 Ave)
- Sep. 19 (Sun) - Sprint distance & Brunch/Awards - Calgary ZOO

Brunch at the ZOO?
Absolutely! The Calgary ZOO features an excellent Sunday Brunch in their Safari Lodge. Items include: assorted fresh baking & dessert table, pancakes, hashbrowns & French toast, eggs benedict & scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon & carved ham, build your own waffle station, juices, cofee & tea, tossed salads, entrees (e.g. beef Bourguignon, chicken stir fry, etc.)
Courses and Age Categories
- Course 1: 9y and under
- Course 2: 10-12y and Adult Recreational
- Course 3: 13-15y
- Course 4: Adult Sport
- Course 5: 16-20y, Adult Expert and Adult 50+ (-ish)
- Course 6: Adult Elite
Course Difficulty Targets
- Course 1: super easy - lots of controls, short course
- Course 2: easy/intermediate - controls on large features close to paths
- Course 3: intermediate - controls on large features in the forest, short course
- Course 4: intermediate - controls on large features in the forest, medium-length course
- Course 5: difficult - medium-length course
- Course 6: difficult - long course
Based on participation numbers we reserve the option to combine courses!
Cost
NOTE: parents who are shadowing their juniors do NOT need to pay any race fees: simply register for Sprint distance / ZOO Brunch only. If you are bringing any tots/infants (2y and under) to the ZOO, please register them (FREE) to help me figure out seating reservations.

ZOO members: $36/adults and youth (13-20y); $24/kids (3-12y); non-ZOO members: $52/adults and youth (13-20y); $32/kids (3-12y); $5/participant discount for Wed. season pass holders (incl. JDP families) on both adult and junior all-in packages when you register for an all-in package. ALSO: an additional $5/participant discount if you register for an all-in package BEFORE Sep. 01!

NOTE: registration for the ZOO event is ON-LINE only. On-site at race day registrations are NOT possible because we'll enter the ZOO before ticketing offices open.
Awards
- For adult categories: EDIBLE club honours
- For junior categories: medals (gold, silver, bronze)
